Since 1933 members have been enjoying the unique benefits of New Zealand Antarctic Society membership.
Members are part of a group who are interested in the Antarctic region, and can be found throughout New Zealand and the world. Members have opportunities to share their knowledge with others and are committed to supporting the protection of the Antarctic environment and the human story of exploration and science.

Adult: $100.00
Student: $50.00
Family: $120.00
Unwaged: $65.00
Schools: $135.00
Institution: $180.00
Corporate: $5,000.00

Please note the currency is NZD and international members including Schools and Institutions pay an additional $20.00 to assist with postage. This extra fee is added at the checkout.

Membership is open to all. We welcome schools and institutions to become affiliates to the New Zealand Antarctic Society. You will receive our flagship magazine ‘Antarctic’ and be invited to participate in events organised by the Society. There is a wealth of information produced and promoted by the Society each year that is extremely relevant – climate change, science, engineering, technology, history and heritage, tourism and more. We are also increasing our engagement, advocacy and education around issues relating to this fascinating and important geopolitical region. Subscribe and become part of this process.

We also welcome Corporate Membership*:  This demonstrates your full support to our cause of protecting Antarctica and working towards an inhabitable planet for future generations.
