Do you want to help shape the Society?

Do you want to help shape the future of the New Zealand Antarctic Society? Then why not join one of the five national committees, three regional Branch Committees, or take up one of the key NZAS Officer roles.

Specific roles that we are currently seeking volunteers for are:

• North Island Vice President  – from now
• Chair/Convener of the Stewardship Committee – collecting, managing and protecting the knowledge, lore and experiences of members, includes historic records and oral histories
• National Secretary – from the AGM in September 2024, but allowing for a handover period prior

Roles are also available to help on one of the National Committees:

• Communications
• Editorial
• Education and Outreach
• Science and Advocacy
• Stewardship
