Old Antarctic Explorer Frank Graveson reflects on the little known history of dogs on the Antarctic continent since the late 1800’s and the challenges they faced. From his experience as a dog handler from 1962 to 1964, including a part in the longest Antarctic dog journey ever, he examines their work, performance, and value as companions.

All welcome.
