Please join the New Zealand Antarctic Society – Wellington Branch for the annual event ‘Fresh off the ice’ where we will be hearing about the diverse science undertaken despite a COVID-19 affected world. Three short talks will discuss MOSAiC – the biggest polar expedition of all times, the acoustic world of Antarctic marine mammals and the monitoring of land fast sea ice in McMurdo Sound carried out by scientists from Victoria University of Wellington, NIWA, University of Otago and Scott Base winter staff.
